Description:
Alert users that they shouldn’t be changing the Opportunity Components or create new without GA approval once the GIN stage is GA-Consolidate onwards.
Users should move the stage only from GI-Handover to GA-Consolidate only

So that the Gift Implementation officer can see an alert at Opportunity level

Reorder Remaining fields (Left to Right) in below order

Technical Design Notes:
Create a subflow to add an alert when stage set to GA-Consolidate and deactivate the alert when stage changed to 8. Commitment Written Off at Opportunity level (GIN - Stage based alerts(subflow)
Use the existing flow “USYD GIN-Stage based Update(subflow) and call the subflow when stage GA-Consolidate and Commitment Written-Off
Write a validation rule that user’s can move only to GA-Consolidate from the Stage GI-Handover (except System admin and GA users )
Enable History tracking for the object Opportunity component
Enable Account, Amount, Currency, Description, Trust conditions, installment date, Proposed designation, method of payment, new account, Opportunity, Payment received
Enable Verbal Acceptance and Gift Amount fields at Opportunity level for tracking
Adjust the Open activities related list at GIN level for Gift/Pledge record type
Test Scenarios:
Test Case 1:
Open a GIN record at GI-Handover stage
Change the stage any but not GA-Consolidate - You should receive an error that you can’t skip the GA-Consolidate stage
Test Case 2:
Change the stage to GA-Consolidate
You will see an alert in RED color at the GIN related Opportunity
Test Case 3:
Check the alert text, start date, related to
Test Case 4:
Change the GIN stage to 8. Commitment Written Off
Alert has end date set
Test Case 5:
If the user check the Opportunity past end date (there is an automation that set’s the flag to INACTIVE) and alert disappears from Opportunity

Opportunity fields - Verbal Acceptance and Gift Amount changes are trackable now
Change the Verbal acceptance and Gift amount field values
Go to Opportunity field history related tab
