Prospect Pool: Indigenous Strategy and Services

Gift Theme: Change Indigenous Pathways to Indigenous

Purpose is to more accurately track all Indigenous opportunities as part of reporting to Deputy Vice Chancellor Indigenous Strategy and Services.

IMPLEMENTATION

Solution:

1. Rename picklist value for Opportunity.Usyd_Gift_Theme__c:

   1. Indigenous Pathways to Indigenous

This change should be applied to the picklist value’s label and API name.

1. Add a new picklist value for Opportunity.AQC_Prospect_Pool__c:

   1. Indigenous Strategy and Services

2. Existing Opportunity records will automatically reference the updated picklist value following item 1.

Listed below are test scenarios that can be executed to cover all the amendments done to address the requirements.

Scenario #1: User with access to Opportunities

Dependency: None

Actor: Any User that has access to Opportunities

Environment: MSTeam

Steps:

1. Login as a User that can create an Opportunity record.

2. Navigate to Opportunities.

3. Create a new Opportunity. This change applies to all active Opportunity Record Types (except “Unsolicited” record type), so the outcome should be the same for every Opportunity Record Type available.

Expected Output: 

• The new picklist value for Prospect Pool “Indigenous Strategy and Services” should be available
