Correlative Light and Electron Microscopy (CLEM)

CLEM is a technique that uses two different microscopy modalities, usually fluorescence microscopy and electron microscopy, to characterise the same cellular structure, so that the researcher can combine contextual information from the light microscope, with the resolution of the electron microscope.

The WRH Electron Microscope Facility can provide a full service including specimen preparation, fluorescence microscopy and electron microscopy.
