The WRH Electron Microscope Facility houses two 120kV TEM’s for routine ultrathin section analysis, and one 200kV TEM for thick section anaylsis. We have two ultramicrotomes for sectioning resin embedded tissue for observation in the TEM. We can also provide support for cutting large numbers of serial sections for reconstructions using transmission or scanning electron microscopy.
The staff at the WRH Electron Microscope Facility can provide a full service from specimen preparation to digital imaging.
