Where's my data!?
When data is uploaded to XNAT it undergoes a series of checks. All data requires a Project, Subject, and Session to be uploaded. When these are either missing or there is a conflict, data ends up in the prearchive.
You can access the preachive by selecting Upload → “Go to prearchive”
Once in the prearchive you can sort all upload data and/or use filters to narrow down your search. Researchers will only have access to data assigned to a Project to which they belong. Site Managers (Sydney Imaging and ICT) are able to see all data, including Unassigned.
In the example above, there are multiple session “29” for the same Subject, which will cause conflicts. Once you’ve found your sessions, click the check box on the left. On the right hand side click “Review and Archive”
In the review window, you can see there is a warning message on Session. You will need to correct the conflict before clicking Submit at the bottom of the page. You can optionally change the Subject or other metadata for the scan.
For the above example, you will need to do this for each problematic imaging session. If you are running into consistent errors, such as having the same number “29” on all your scans, it may indicate an issue with the upload script or tool configuration.
