Once in Affinaquest app, go to Gear Icon

Click on login against the user ( GA User) having all permissions

select a contact

choose a contact that is part of a multi contact household

 

from the menu click "Lightning Contact Utilities

 

 

Click "Separate" Button

 

 

Click "MOVE TO NEW ACCOUNT 1" For one contact and the other to "MOVE TO NEW ACCOUNT 2"

 

 

Click Next

 

 

Click "Copy to New Account 1" and "Copy to New Account 2" tick boxes

 

all tick boxes are ticked.

Click Next

 

Edit Data for New Account 1 screen shows

Related Data screen pops up

Click "MOVE TO NEW ACCOUNT" for Alternate IDs, then click to move to both accounts for Relationships with Accounts

 

 

Click Next

 

 

Update Legal Credits to 100 for both contacts

 

 

Update both contacts to be primary contact

 

 

Update to Head of Household for Account Relationship for both contacts

 

 

Update both contact's Marital Status to "Divorced"

 

 

Click Next

Separates Contacts on a single household Account into two new household Accounts
Contacts are moved with all related data
Objects related to the Account can generally be moved to one or both new Accounts, with some exceptions
Custom fields on the Account are moved
Custom objects are not moved
Gifts:
Are moved based on legal credit – legal credit must equal 100% or gifts are not moved
If the legal credit is split 50/50, the gifts on the old Account are voided and new gifts are created on the new Account
Gifts are moved in a separate batch from the rest of the data, this can cause issues if the first part of the separate is successful, but the gifts portion is not

Logout of the User
