Storage in Argus
Argus has limited space, and you should never store any information on your personal Argus desktop (i.e. do not store anything in home, documents, downloads folder in Argus).
There is only ONE place you should be storying any files for analysis/viewing. Please delete this files once you are done with them. Argus is not for long term storage, we have limited storage space in these folders.
If you are using RHEL-Shared Argus desktops, store files in /temporary-storage/shared.sydney.edu.au/
a. Open up a folder (any folder) and select ‘Other Locations’ in the bar on the left hand side
b. Click on Computer/temporary-storage/shared.sydney.edu.au/
c. You should create a folder for yourself to store your own items in.
2. If you are using RHEL-LRG or RHEL-SML Argus desktops, store files in /argus/PRJ-FFbigdata
