If not in the Affinaquest app, go to app launcher and type in Affinaquest in the search bar

Once in Affinaquest app, go to Gear Icon

Click on Set up - Blue icon

Click on Users

Click on login against the user ( GA User) having all permissions

select a pledge and click Post as Pledge Payment

click Batch number to go back to the Batch

Click Close Batch

Confirmation screen shows

click "Confirm Close" Button

click Ok

Goes back to Batch record and Record Type is converted to "Closed Batch"

click Batch Items tab

Click the Batch item to open it

Click the "Link to Pledge"

go to Gft/Pledge record

From the transaction list, click view all

two new transactions were added. Prior commitment tick box ticked. One with positive amount and method is check, another is negative amount with method pledge

if the pledge has 1 legal donor, payment is 100% legal credit to donor, the other household should get 0 legal credit.

(depends on the pledge. If the pledge is set up as a joint pledge, the payment will also split.
